How do you like those Nitto's so far, the recons are on top of my list when the time comes. Noise level and overall thoughts?

Color of the truck with those wheels looks sick! Nice job.
I don't care for the looks of them, they're not aggressive
they are quite
they're comfortable
but the looks is bothering me
I had 2 sets of nitto ridge grapplers and those are as quite and as comfortable
I wouldve gotten them if they were available
I found some 38x12.5 r17's ridge grapplers new on craigslist, contemplating on getting them and selling the recons.

RPG Rear coil spacer 1 inch
Prior to installing these I had a 1.50 inch rake. Now it looks pretty level maybe slightly higher in the rear ?
The shop recommended to do 3inch/1inch but didn’t want to go too crazy in the front.
After pick up it drove stiff, felt like stock but in sport mode. Did the forscan shock recal and it drives closer to stock-normal mode, still feel a bit stiffer. Down travel seems much more aggressive. I like the look but the feel is questionable.
Probably will switch to FRS when they come out.
I like the raked look, I’d take that over the nose up. Looks more aggressive - I’ve thought about adding more to mine with maybe a touch more up front.

You probably already know this but always give suspension mods some time before you reach a verdict. Often times things need to settle and/or break in, most often leading to some softening.
Wont happen with spacers as the OEM coils are more preload than originally designed. Kind of a Jerry rig lift to use collars.

Then is it a “Jerry rig lift” to use spring preload on a King shock to set the ride height?
Stupid analogy as kings are designed with adjustable compression and rebound dampening, plus they have a bit more travel to compensate so the shock doesn’t top out upon rebound.
Obviously you know little about how high end coilovers are designed.

I have extensive experience with high end coilovers, albeit more for race cars than off road, but I know how shocks work and are tuned. I don’t think a huge preload collar is a good idea, but the smaller ones are not an issue and absolutely do not cause the shock to top out as you keep saying. The stock damping will be a better match for the oem springs with an RPG 1.5 collar than they would be with any of the aftermarket spring options.

I had 1.5" preload collars on my last 2023 35" Raptor and took them off as the shocks topped out on rebounded pretty hard. Eibach 1.0" springs were far better, however they still were a bit much for the OEM struts rebound damping to properly keep up with.

When I tried the Recon's they would squirm on lane changes made my truck ride terrible. finally had Nitto warranty them and back to the ridge which are perfect as always, have them on three trucks.
