Weird thing just happened. TPMS warning light goes off flashing like I'm about to die while I'm driving to the store. Started maybe 2 minutes before I pull into the parking lot. I get what I need, stop at the gas station to put in a bit of air to get it to 39 psi where I normally have it. It's only down 2 or 3 psi, driving home it's screaming at me the whole time... flashing the low pressure light and dinging the dash for a tpms fault. Whatever I'm going to 4wp to get the tires checked out anyways, i don't care.

I go back out there because I realize I need some supplies for a project I'm working on; turn the truck on to drive to the hobby store and it the light or alarm never comes on once. Complete mystery to me. Never once happened in 10 years of ownership.
TPMS fault is different than TPMS low pressure warning. You likely need a new TPMS on one tire, but it is 10 years old and battery powered.

That just happened to me last week. I checked the PSI and it was higher than it should have been, so I lowered all four down to 42 and it hasn’t done it since. I was thinking it’s probably the battery in the TMPS and will need to get them replaced soon.

Brand new on all 5 as of last week. TPMS low pressure was on the morning of because we had a bit of a cold front roll in, thats why I threw some air in. Was off when I left from work in the afternoon The only other thing I could think of was some sort of interference, as I've heard that the signal can get hung up on some EMI.

Test fitted the Gen1 beadlock rings I picked up from @badm0t0rfinger onto my 2024 37PP rims. All the bolt holes line up, as they should, because I have the SVTGen1 beauty rings mounted on them now. Now to get them powder coated and then we will see if they seal the tire correctly. Staying hopeful as I love the look of the PP rims on a Gen1

Decided to swap out my black methods and go polished on my Gen 1. Also time for a new tire choice. I have been using Cooper Discoverer STTs for the last 6 years on several vehicles and loved them. Unfortunately, Cooper recently discontinued them. I was going to go with my 2nd favorite tire which is the Toyo Open Country M/T, but they are also discontinued so I opted for the Toyo Open Country R/T Trail. Now/Before. Opinions please, do you prefer the polished or black? IMG_1856.JPG
