Bought a 2013 SCrew Tuxedo black original owner with 54k miles, with perfect ford service history. Will be putting my 2011 SCab molten orange for sale after I transfer a bunch of bolt on stuff, wheels and what not, lights. Currently has 46500 miles and is in perfect condition fully loaded. will be listing for $39500.
The reason is I miscalculated how fast my kids has grown...space became an issue. My boys grew like weeds in the last 6 months, they are 13 now. I will be posting my old truck for sale when its ready.

Easiest raptor project I have completed outside of the stubby and mirror deletes.

Whatcha need:
Qty 2 - 3/8" x 3" black oxide elevator bolts

Qty 2 - 1-1/4" O.D. x 3/8" I.D. x 1/16" thick rubber washer

Qty 2 - 1-1/4" O.D. x 3/8" I.D. SS fender washers

Qty 2 - 3/8" SS lock washer

Qty 2 - 3/8" SS jam nut

Qty 2 - 3/4" O.D. x 3/8" I.D. x 1/2" rubber washer

Qty 2 - 3/8" wing hand nut/knob (or star, whichever you prefer)

Line up your traction mats on the top of the cover. Center or offset as needed based on what or how you haul stuff in your bed. On a trifold cover, you need to install on the panel closest to the cab.

Mark where you want your two (or more, addditional hardware needed beyond the two) holes with a sharpie or paint pen.

Center punch the sharpie marks.

Drill the two holes with a 3/8" drill bit.

Insert elevator bolt with rubber washer fitted on the outside of the cover. Install the fender washer, lock washer, and jam nut on the inside of the cover. Install your traction mats and install the thick rubber washer (isolator) and wing/star knob. Fin.

This was about a 1/8 of a beer project. I was thinking of putting it up on the roof rack but didn't like the potential of them being within view of unscrupulous people.

Note: measure the thickness of your bed cover and thickness of your traction mats to determine the length of the elevator bolts. I have TRED Pro mats.

Let me know if you need any pictures or better directions.

sound's like it took longer to open the beer than to do the task. :win:

Purchased an extra OEM key directly from a local Ford dealership.
Then went to my local locksmith and had him cut it.
Then went home and programmed it.
Worked out perfectly.
