I have seen people mount them inside on the dash or outside on the hood area between the windshield wipers.

I've seen people just put them on the dash above the center speaker then bitch me out when I point out how it reflects on the windshield.

Mine is on a Ram Mount behind my HDS and does not bother me one bit. I will one day do it on the roof when I have time. Already have the NMO thru the roof so no big deal

It's actually more detailed than I thought it would be. Good graphics too.

I didn't have it loaded when we did the install but you should check it out at Silver State...

I believe you but I don't see how it is helpful on runs.

Don't know if it will be... I think I prefer seeing the road I'm on and surrounding roads as reference vs. the straight yellow background. I haven't used it on a run yet so who knows maybe it will be a distraction.

Got out to the snow sat! Tried out the new rear end, new iwes and new cv shaft. Needless to say our 4x4 systems suck the donkey ****. Got stuck lost 4wheeldrive had an f150 hook up to pull me out. He got stuck and then my front decided to start spinning again and I got out! leave it to me to find mud in all the snow lol
