The oil pics didn't go through. The transmission fluid is what came in the truck from Ford. I was quite alarmed when I saw it. It doesn't smell at all. Did a bunch of googl'ing and lots of concensus that the Ford fluild turns brown very early and not to worry.

Thoughts.

How many miles?

I installed the heat exchanger this weekend. I am headed To Glamis this weekend to remove BLM closure stakes so the truck will be doing a lot of idling and pulling through the dunes in 4x4 mode. That should be a great opportunity to see how the new coolers do.

I used thread certs to mount the cooler and push lock hose and fittings.

All together between both units and parts I have less than 200.00 and about 3 hours total.

Tim

I realize this was 2017 but where did you route your hoses to and from? From 6 row cooler to single pass or from radiator to single row to 6 row?

I installed the Saudi Tranny Oil Cooler on my 2013 Raptor and the temp went down around 20 degrees. Good upgrade and keeps the OEM look.

I have that installed already. I have purchased a 24 inch inline and was looking for some insight as to where he installed his.

That must be a female truck.
