I did mine all at the same time. HUGE difference. Downpipe, full exhaust, adapters, CAI, tune, plugs, and intercooler. I am guessing 150-200 gain in hp, but more importantly acceleration, throttle response, shift points, top end acceleration, etc.

I have the MPT 93PRX tune and was looking at adding the SPD turbo adaptors. Do I have to get the SPD Stud Extractor in order to have them installed by a professional. My truck is a 2018 with approx. 3K miles.

also whats the install like on this...is this a quick install...how much estimate for a pro to do it?

I bought the SPD install kit, but not the extractor. My truck had less than 2K miles and the installer told me they came off pretty easily. Total cost with the install was right at $400. I think I have heard others had similar prices.

Did you have a 4x4 shop do it or just some run of the mill exhaust shop? My 4x4 shop is like 45mins away. Just wondering if this is something a normal exhaust shop could do where i could actually just wait, or this is something I need to schedule with a 4x4 shop and probably have to drop the truck off. Where did you buy your kit from? Do you reccommend it?

I had the Raptor shop who did my build take care of it all at once. I bought the kit through the shop and yes, I do recommend it!

Others have had exhaust shops do theirs because there is nothing difficult about the project other than getting the bolts removed. It is a two hour job if everything goes smoothly, so you might want to drop it off one way or the other.

My 2 cents: Find a really good local mechanic who can do everything. They are able to trouble shoot any issue, fix things that do not come correct from manufacturer, and can best advise on what works best. After putting 30k into 13, and 25k into my 18 i can tell very little goes as planned or by the book. You need someone who can make adjustments on the fly and do whats best for your truck in the long haul. Having spcific techs that only do certain things just do not understand how the whole vehicle works together. I have a great guy in North Conroe(suburb of Houston). Literally 2 guys(father and son) have done every single mod on both my trucks and i have never had 1 issue of any kind. They know more about cars american cars and trucks and how to make them go as fast and perform at their peak more than anyone i have ever seen.

Do you mind posting their name for those of us who live on the north side of Houston?

It was not as bad as I have heard I used the $23.00 +-stud extractor which was needed. I sprayed penetrating lube on everything the night before when it was warm (Not Hot) I used a bunch of extensions and large beaker bar. Every thing broke loose without a crazy amount of force. I did it in my garage in about 2.5 hours on its wheels. I didn't use any heat to do it ether. (My truck had only about 4k on it though)
