My e-locker disengages above 35mph... but I don't have a GEN2 Raptor.
Anyone can spin the tire(s) at 70mph... depends on the conditions. If it is cold enough out and there is snow/salt on the road, I can spin a tire. In dry conditions with a 450hp Raptor, you're not spinning a tire at 70. I like his videos, but he has no idea what he's talking about. I think he admits it in the videos... He has 2 piggybacks and an exhaust flange... he claims 600hp and spinning the tires at 70mph, boost gauge exceeds 20psi... none of these things are true.

That is my understanding. I was hoping someone with a G2 would confirm.

I believe Ford did this to avoid or lessen wheel hop.

The locker in the 17's does not engage in 2WD. You have to be in some form of 4WD for it to engage.

Well, the Gen 1 was way more than just a little hoppy. I had to get a set of Rogue Racing traction bars to fix it (has been absolutely solid ever since).

Kind of wanted to just 4 link it instead but it was $3,500 vs $35,000 so for now this will do.

My tires start to spin as soon as i put it in drive and let off the brakes, if they didn't i would be stopped.

Tuned Fords exhaust sound enhancement to also chirp as gears change.
