so how are they?? sound, performance, mpg improvements?
SPD DP + Borla Atak + Borla tips 50 mile review

This combo is definitely not for everyone. Baja mode is deeper, louder, throaty and raspy at mid to higher RPM. You can feel the truck vibrate a bit more and tactile as you gas it.

Current sport mode is now as loud as baja mode with Atak only before.

The gas pedal feels more touchy and responsive, more than I expected in a good way.

I only drove 50 miles so I don't have a guage of the mpgs but to be honest I'm not expecting much. Customer service at SPD said anecdotally, their R was half a sec faster on the 1/4 mile with the DP tho.1000024717.jpg

What cats did you get? No codes? On my Audis I believe my Gesi cats have a EPA serial number on them. I was looking at these and the trombone upgrade they sell. Kooks makes a few different headers now also. Ordered my Whipple yesterday.

I have the Alpha Cats by SPD. No codes. They do break in after about 500 miles and sound different.

No experience with the trombone but @BadWRP has it on his R.
