I find 38 to be just right for me. They were at 40 when I got the truck in June when temps were in the low 100's. I lowered them to 38 and they felt good. With temps now around 70, they dropped to around 35 and the suspension felt a bit numb. I brought them back up to 38 and the ride is good again.I think 38 is too high, in fact soon I will try 33 & 32. KOs are reasonably stiff in the sidewalls, although the C range ones are pretty flexible.
The truck doesn't handle like a regular truck. I drove mine 2000 miles from Missouri to California. Just beware of the bumps on curves. I experienced one going 80 mph but I knew not to over react and let the truck do its thing.
I wondered if the 2019 shocks addressed that. I have a 2018, and when I hit a bump at 70 mph, the rear end feels airborne and it lands at a slight angle (either to the left or right). If you anticipate it, it’s not too bad to control.
Correct me if I’m wrong but all you need is GWVR 6000lbs or greater to schedule 179 your vehicle.I have a question.
For those who ordered the bed extender, is the bed extender installed at the dealer or factory?
I ordered the bed extender, but now think I would like the divider instead.
I would hope I could tell dealer not to bother to install it, so I can sell the extender on ebay and then get a divider with the cash.
I ordered the extender thinking I needed it to Qualify for the Section 179 deduction(which says you need 6 ft + to qualify) but just thinking iam going to go with the mileage deductions(gonna buy other equipment in 2019 for business anyway) .
Let me know!
