My window sticker disappeared for about a half a day and returned the next day. My truck was already in transit at the time and still is in transit.

(it isn’t) mine (yet) disappeared for all of Dec., and just returned to the interwebs. So it has to be true ;-) I checked after F/P gave me the location, somewhere in PA and an ETA, that I’m way too paranoid to put any real faith in, but ... it’s better than “ramp 59”

If you plan to use MAS they are about 3k under MSRP for the Raptor, that's about the best you are going to get one for at this point. You should be able to order a 17 now if there are any allocations left with MAS (31 total). I would assume 18's won't be available for order until next fall.

Yeah, all their allocations are gone. :( Guess i will have to wait.

order process

Been on the Forum a few weeks and today I put a deposit on a Raptor that the dealer ordered and its close to everything I want. I had a few questions about adding options and is there a way to see if your truck is being built?

The truck has all but 3 options I want (tail gate step, tailgate applique & 2nd row heated seats). Dealer said Ford has already pulled the order and it can't be changed. If this this is not true please let me know.

Also they said there is no VIN# yet. I have a Vehicle Order Confirmation but from other things I have seen here this does not mean much? Order No: 0001 Priority: 20 Does that mean anything? Is the order # always 0001 or does that change when they actually start the build? I'm researching this but lots of needless info to read through. No offense but its page after page of "my truck is built and sitting in a rail yard"..., or maybe thats the timeline I'm searching in.

Order number is set by dealer. Does not impact build date.
Dealer can set priority within a range. 10 is lowest a dealer can set. 20 is as good as 10 if that is the lowest the dealer uses.
Neither really make a lot of difference as there are many factors as to when your will be built including any option shortages (currently CF and maybe Forged, but some with one or both are getting dates now).
Read the tracking thread that is a sticky.

No offense taken!

You will be saying the same thing in about 4-6 weeks anyway!

If you dont have a vin and build date yet , you CAN make changes - clear and simple.

What I got back from the dealer today "I checked with my general manager this morning, and he knows for a fact it can not be changed. Another one of our sales guys had a customer who loved the build we had on the Avalanche gray Raptor but wanted it to be an extended cab and we couldn't change it so he didn't go with it.

He's going to try to get me the vin today on it. When it comes to the tailgate appliqué I'm sure you can get that through parts or online, the other options aren't as easy like you said. There are places that do heated seats aftermarket in our area though. The tailgate step is built into the tailgate so you'd of course need an entirely new tailgate."

So I guess they can't change it. I might be able to buy one from another member and trade. Tailgate, paint, & applique would get expensive. I will not be sitting in the back seat so I'm ok without heat. Everything Ive seen on here says it can be changed, but guess they can't or...

I would suggest you do some reading around here. Tons of us had made changes before being scheduled/issued a vin. I added the beadlock wheels many months after ordering and having my order in the system, but hadn't been scheduled yet. It's after you get scheduled that they don't want to make any changes. Either your truck has already been scheduled or your dealer doesn't want to make the changes is my guess...unless something major has changed! I'd suggest you email or call Ford service (can email on fb) and check your order status.Good luck!
