Not sure if this was brought up in the past, but I would really like to see a 4-5 day event. This would allow time for some special events that were stated earlier. It will also make it worth the drive for people that come in from all over.

Also, Trey, you and others put a lot of time and effort into this event. I would expect you to get some compensation for your efforts and would be more than willing to pay double for this event. I do track weekends all the time and they are $200-400 and woth every penny. Raising the fee a little would pay for the increased costs for all the extras that everyone wants.

Don't forget, some of us are already paying over $500 in gas just to drive there.

And some of us spent almost 3x that... but I still totally agree with the price increase for the event. You can expect to spend north of $300 per day for a quality road course; and you'd be lucky to complete half a dozen 2 or 3 minute laps in that day. A fee somewhere around that for 3+ days access to the course and ranch that we were invited too? That's a no brainer and a steal.

PS: I have the feeling the $100 charged this time was a wwwaaaayyy under estimate. I think some one(s) in the background soaked up the additional costs that we should have paid. And that's just so 'they' could break even. Another sign of the classy quality folks we're dealing with to not even mention such a thing to anyone once...

Now that they have had a first run, next year should go really well. Price increase wouldn't be too bad. whats another $100-200 for a multiple day track including staying in the campsite.

These events live and die by volenteers, I agree that this event cost more than they brought in. Trust me I dont have money pooring out my pockets, but we should be covering the costs or it wont happen every year.

Yeah I'm reluctant to say it but $100 was way cheap.

Thats what really got me to go this year though. I couldn't believe $100 for 3 days of track time, and staying on site. That is unheard of. We stayed at a rv park in california (newport dunes) and would pay over $130 a day just for a spot. and its just an rv park
