Thank you MTF. I agree, the tire is not the best one on it. I purchased this truck a few months back and it had these on them. Would you still recommend Toyo or a different option. I drive to Reno often, so would like something that handles snow good.
I used forscan to set the threshold to 30psi, so my assumption was that it souldn't set the light.

I understand, it only takes one tire to go below 30 to set the light.
Just go out and fill them to 42 and if you have to, drive around the neighborhood till the light goes back out.
Just keep in mind tire pressure need to be set when tire is ice cold, there is almost a 4 to 5 degree in temperature change (depending on outside temp) from cold to driving on the street/highway.

Tire brands is all up to you, as long as you pay attention to speed and load ratings
I like the BFG KO2s, they never failed me in the snow and they are the only S speed (118 mph) rated tires in our size.
I think the Qs are 99 mph

I had replace 3 sensors on my 2010. Dealership said if there is 4 lbs difference in pressure in one of the tires it will set off warning light.

The service advisor at the local ford store told me the TPMS sensors are good for about ten years or so.

I am chasing an issue with my TPS. Pressures are good and light is on. Not a big issue but still a pain. I have Falken Wildpeak AT3 on my 14 screw. Love them in the winter
