We're expecting our first big snowfall in CT this weekend, and it'll be my first time driving my Raptor in it. Any tips for fun (like parking lot) driving? i.e. enable/disable off road mode, etc.?

Put it in 4 wheel hi or low and step on the gas. Your rig will do the rest....Have fun

For fun hold down the TC button and turn on Offroad mode. If it's real slick lock the rear diff.

probably not the best idea to just go for it. make sure that you know what the snow is covering. you dont want to hit a curb that is hidden under the snow at the wrong angle. and be prepared to not be able to stop or steer very well.

Best advice right there. You never know what's under that that snow covered landscape.

As for driving in snow, remember you have a 6,000lbs+ truck with a light rear end. It doesn't stop fast, can easily slide out in a turn and can get tail happy in 2wd. Take your time and feel out what the truck wants to do in the snow, then start playing with the Off-road mode, traction control, diff lock, etc.

leave everything on, all the nannies in control, and go drive it. Learn the limitations and when the nannies kick in.

Turn off one thing at a time, and see how things change, and how the truck reacts.

It's the best way to learn it. Just remember, the raptor is awesome for deep snow and getting through crap, but just because it's 4x4 with knobby tires doesn't make it stop any better on ice, it'll slide right through an intersection if you aren't careful.
