I took it to Ford because I thought for sure it was the Cats had failed (because the Cats were still under warranty) but they said the peace inside the small muffler had came lose I didn’t believe them so I cut it open they were correct. Replaced it with SPD exhaust and all good now

So just an update on this in case anyone has the same issue. It ended up being the starter, the gear inside would tap the bolts on the flywheel creating the sound. The spring mechanism inside the starter wasn’t pushing the gear back in place after start up and would only go back once warm. Put a new starter in and it’s sounding good again.

I crawled under the truck and had someone start it and rev it up and I could feel the vibration inside the muffler took it to a muffler shop they said it was the problem so when I replaced it we cut it open to know for sure and the welded part had broken loose
