Considering trading my '18 Raptor for a '19-20 Limited for a few reasons. First, 0% on the Limited. This makes no sense, as it's more expensive than the Raptor, but it's true. Also, the Limited now has the Raptor HO engine, which is even more potent in a lighter/smaller truck. There are also options on the Limited not available on the Rappy.

I love my Raptor, but I'm looking at a cam phaser repair soon, and the width of it day-to-day is kind of a pain. I can do 98% of the stuff I do in the Raptor in a Limited, and it would be easier to live with. Still, it has none of the cache of the Raptor (and I hate the Limited grille), although that has been diminished by Ford cranking up the output.

Am I nuts? Do I need to take some test and double down on a 2020 Raptor and be done with it?

If you hate the Limited grille - and would have to look at it every day - then I'd say pass. Little things like that end of grating you and you can never truly form a relationship with your truck. My suggestion would be to fix whatever needs to be fixed on your 2018 and appreciate the hell out of it.

The Limited or Platinum's are Sweet trucks! I drove a Platinum for a few months and they ride super smooth, quick, easier to park etc.

Raptor is more truck like, if that makes sense and also has the Cool Factor. I also prefer the stance and aggressive look of the Raptor.

Thoughts on the 0% interest. If you get 0% you will give up some rebate dollars. Take the rebate and finance it at a low interest rate at a credit union. Will cost you less and you will not be upside down driving it off the lot. If you take the deal and decide you want to go back to a Raptor, it will take years to get out from under it. Look up what used 19 prices and this will give you a good idea of the position you will be in after your purchase.

Really not a hard decision as both choices are Great!

Depends what you're looking for in a truck. Honestly, they're targeted at completely different demographics.

If you don't need or want the off-road capability and durability of a Raptor, the Limited offers a more upscale interior, significantly better fuel economy (due to the Raptor's 35's and suspension height), and higher payload as well as towing capacity.

It all comes down to personal preference.

One factor I always look at his Resale valule. The Raptor will hold its value better than any other F150.

IMO, I think you should get the Cams fixed or look at a 2020 model. If your not going off road at all then I can see why you want a Limited but guess what 95% of the Raptors out there don't go off road anyways so.......

I have looked at a limited. Very nice and plush. Couldn't find fault with anyone for wanting one, especially with basically the same power plant as the Raptor, and did I mention it was plush?
For me though, I love my Raptor. I have enjoyed this truck more than any other I have owned.
