I believe dealers will do this so that their vehicle will be at the top of the list when you sort your search by price high > low. It’s a cheaper way than paying for premium ad listing! Lol!

Here is another guy asking $275K for a used Gen1. Granted it has some serious modifications. But really??? I love how he claims it has never been off-roaded.

That build has been floating around for sale for a while now. It's a super clean build and it's probably true that it hasn't seen real off-road use. A lot of shops build prerunners like this either for shows, to develop new products, or for customers that keep them in the garage for a few months and post a few instagram pics then try to sell them for more than they paid so they can buy another 911. There's a handful of builds like this one on race-dezert. The price is not entirely absurd either, it will probably sell for $200k+ eventually.

And by "no real off-road use" I mean the original truck probably saw off-road use, but not the "build". There's not much of the original truck left in there.
