First thing I did was disable the seatbelt chime nanny. This applies to Ford trucks in general
Each seat has to be done separately.
I went out this evening to try this out. Driver seat worked to perfection, exactly the way the video describes. I then tried to do the same thing for the passenger seat, but no joy. So I figured maybe the truck needs to think someone is sitting in that seat for the process to work. So I jumped out and went and sat in the passenger seat. I started the process all over again. Success!! No more nanny chimes for seat belts!!
Well I can't say for certain whether the driver's side took care of both. I didn't test it out to see which chimes were disabled. The video does specifically say you need to do both seats, so that is what I did. And I really haven't confirmed that the chimes are turned off. Only that the seatbelt light in the dash acted exactly the way the video describes, indicating that I was successful. Next time I take the truck for a drive, I'll be able to confirm for myself!I figured doing the driver automatically did both front seats?

Glad you got it done. It has been a pet peeve of mine since seatbelt nannies became prevalent in all vehicles, even though I always wear my seatbelt, it’s the principal of not having a machine that I pay for bitch and whine at me.
