I would call first thing Monday as well.

If no response, taking it to another dealer is a good idea. If they don't agree with the work then it only builds your case more. Don't tell them the back story, only that you had done work done at a shop at your old town and you have some concerns. See if they come to the same conclusions as you and your father did.

... @FordService can you clarify how this process might work? I know the repairs are warrantied 12 months/12k miles but is that just at the dealership who conducted the repairs? If my local dealer now agrees that things were not installed/reinstalled properly would Ford step in and make the original dealer fix it?

Hey MobileBeats,

Generally speaking, it's best to have whichever dealership performed the service work on the vehicle again, but you're welcome to visit any Ford Dealership you'd like. Were you able to contact the dealership today? You know how to reach me if you need my help.

Hey Crystal,

How about you contact the dealer on his behalf and start working on making things correct?

Just a thought.

From my understanding, he has been in contact with crystal and it seems like she's helped him a lot. Can't always leave it to the big wigs to solve all your problems, just help when you need it.

@FordService Crystal help a brotha out. This guy's gone thru the ringer here and been nothing but a trooper. You need to take care of him on this. Completely.

Hi guys,

I'm doing everything I can to help, but I've got to follow the rules that allow me to interact with all of you on the forums, too. I've been in touch with MobileBeats before and I'll continue to do whatever I can from my neck of the woods.

Crystal is great and talking to her gets you in touch with other people at Ford that understand customer service. Lots of people talk about customer service. She gets in touch with people that know what it means and follow through like their lives depend on it. I have a good relationship with my dealer anyway but I can tell you when a regional customer service representative checks in with the service manager it gets his/her attention.

Not able to reach him. Thought it was funny that they asked who was calling, I gave my name, and she came back and said he was on the line and she could have him call me back.

Just so everyone is aware, Crystal has done her job as far as I am concerned. I thought her position worked a little differently than it does but now that I have utilized her services I realized she is more of a messenger than anything when it comes to problems like this. The first time I contacted her she relayed the entire OP to someone who pushed that down the chain and it ended up in the lap of management at my dealership. While it would be nice for her to be a heavy hitter that really isn't the case. Our issues being posted on a popular public forum and her relaying them to the right people makes the bat heavy enough. Ford doesn't want something to go completely wrong with an issue like this because a lot of people will see it. Hence why we have Crystal. Thanks again!
