I sent a complaint to the BBB, sent a message via Ford's website with a link, left a review on their google page with a brief description and a link to this thread, left the same thing on their facebook page, and sent a message to the President of Cavalier Auto Group.

I'm also in the process of disputing the $500 transaction with my credit card company for my deductible.

Want some more reasons to avoid Cavalier Ford Greenbrier?...

Shifter cable grommet not put back in place allowing anything and everything to get into the cab under the center console.

O2 sensor wire spun around the sensor and resting on the pipe.

Crossover wire dangling free. Coating on the wire is completely worn off.

Both bolts on the front pan of the bell housing half way backed out along with the flywheel cover being on backwards.

Random piece not placed back in properly when the bolt was put back in.

Didn't take pictures but when my starter went out Joe was nice enough to pick one up from auto zone for when I arrived at camp (unfortunately the wrong one). We arrived and I started pulling my starter to find one bolt completely missing and the top bolt loose enough I could take it out with my hand.

Damn that looks like shoddy work for sure. looks like someone was in a hurry. no excuse for that. as I always say you are at the mercy of whomever they let work on your vehicle.

As my dad continues to say, every issue I encounter are rookie mistakes. Things a ford dealership should not be doing. Too bad it took them almost three months for the whole job or else the "in a hurry" excuse might explain some of it.

I run into small things like this every time I work on the truck.

This sounds like a dealership that does not train it's techs or pay for quality ford technicians.

They claim that have 12 CERTIFIED TECHNICIANS. More than any other dealership in the region. Funny how that works out. Certified in stupidity maybe.

I'm pleasantly surprised she did well. Especially with all of the issues everyone else was having. I'll take having to wire up my starter to a switch over no power steering. Lol.

I'm still boggled by your lights. Drawing 22 amp 12 ga wire should be plenty at that distance. There's no reason those should need any fancy wiring outside the regular up fitter.

Yeah, that shit irritated the hell out of me, but if that and the coolant res cracking are the only two things i have to fix then i'm happy.
