Cutting it really close. I would let them keep it to ensure a good job. Would hate for you to have to deal with codes or issues else where and start over. Or maybe it would be better? I donno..... I feel like I'm rambling like Wilson. Lol...

Yukon Joe
GREAT LAKES RAPTOR EXCURSIONS

They're gonna want to get it done ASAP because it'll save them money. Just like overnighting those parts. A lot cheaper to pay for overnighting them than pay for my rental and then the shipment of the truck.

In my area where the lakes freeze you get one drop in, or like DOC. One slip in or like MB one time. The insurance thought they could get away with a cheep fix but the dealer was seeing dollars. IMO Dealer should have called back in the insurance guys to take a second look after more inspection.

This is exactly right. The insurance company told the dealer what he wanted to do and instead of stepping back and saying this isn't the correct way to fix these issues they kept taking the money and doing more stuff.

What would the dealer give you for the truck and how much for a new one? How many miles on this one it's a 13 right. I also think they are fishing becose they didn't replace the wires on the header. I'm guessing they would grudge you for a new one.

Dealer offered $35k if I traded it in, that's after all repairs. MSRP was $54550 and it has 12k miles. Either they looked at it and there wasn't an issue, they decided to ignore it, or they don't know to look at it which I find hard to believe.

Update 28JUN14 0953: Dealer just called and said they got everything in yesterday and it didn't seem to be having any issues. They are getting the new padding taken care of right now and then the manager is going to take it for a good test drive to make sure there's nothing wrong. They are on track to have it done by the end of today.
