Glad progress is being made. Especially with the (Free?) loaner and hopefully being ready to go before you separate.

Did the insurance adjuster even look at it when the initial claim was made?

The problem is, I cleaned out the interior very well. When insurance looked at it the truck didn't look as bad as it actually was. So I kind of screwed myself by cleaning it out.

I thought their was a case of them missing out they bed of your truck?

Yes, two cases came up missing. That hasn't been brought up yet.

Did you take pictures before you cleaned anything? That would have been your proof.

I have pictures. He's not doubting the damage but when he first conducted the estimate he didn't think it was that bad.

This was about 30 minutes after sitting in the water.

This was after extraction and all the water dumped out.

This was after cleaning the carpets.

I'm sure you did, but did you let the insulation underneath dry out completely?
We used to have people come in and say they're car smelled like mold. Carpet was bone dry. Pull the trim and check the foam, soaking wet.

No, the insulation was soaked. The dealer pulled the carpet and replaced the insulation. I cleaned it because I didn't initially know what I was getting into.

Update 23JUN14 1610: Went in to meet my insurance appraiser at the dealer at 1500. At 1540 I left because he hadn't shown up and I couldn't reach him on his phone. Left him a message to call me ASAP. The dealer seems to be trying their best to make sure this is taken care of before I leave but that is hard to do when the person approving stuff doesn't show up when he said he would. This puts a 24 hour delay on anything they wanted to do on the truck.

Dealer mentioned what they believe is causing the issue. I tapped into a blue wire off of a wiring harness on the passenger side. Noah recommended this wire so I'm sure he has used it before without incident. They claim that the slightest resistance can cause issues with the PCM and this could be causing the remaining codes. They said that three codes were cleared when they disconnected the NAV-TV module. What I don't understand with this, if they believe that this connection is causing the remaining codes then why don't they just disconnect it. All of a couple minutes might be involved in this but they have yet to do it. It is only being used for a remote wire to tell my digital pressure gauge to turn on.

@The Car Stereo Company maybe you can give your opinion on this.

that wire is an ignition source that goes to the fuse box. resistance fluctuation in that wire is constant. it powers other fuses when the vehicle is on.

So them saying it is directly connected to the PCM and is causing resistance which causes these ABS codes doesn't make sense correct?

it is does not make sense electrically. a vehicle battery is 12v in the off position and 14.+ in the run position. the amperage is more too. how can a turn on wire cause enough reistance to make the computers onboard throw codes? unless you have a direct malfunction of the aftermarket part installed, but usually a fuse would go first.
