They've got to many big wigs involved with this to be ******** around. A service manager is overseeing the truck personally and the managing partner will be going over my sheet to make sure all of the issues I brought up are corrected.

Having someone with real authority keeping an eye on it should help a lot MB. My dealer issues got so much better when the owner personally took over being responsible for what happened.

They found a bad ground somewhere. Fixed the airbag issue and everything appears fine. Service manager is gonna take it out over the next couple days and see if anything else pops up and then he'll call to arrange delivery.

Nice to know that they are finally getting things done as they should be. Sorry you have to deal with them shipping it, but in the end, you'll probably saved a bit on gas traveling home. The bad ground for the airbag is no big surprise considering their handling of the rest of the work they did.

Truck should be delivered next week. They put about 120 miles on it over a couple days and the only issue they had is a check engine light from the o2 sensors. Which makes sense as my tune is not on the truck and I have catless SW headers.

I went through a similar issue with a 2004 VW Touareg... Long to short, wife took Touareg to dealership for warranty issue, was given loaner. 3 days later, dealer said have bad news. Vehicle had been left outside in secured parking area, sunroof open, 3 days of severe Florida rain, Touaregs are water tight. Vehicle was full of water up to tops of seats. All electronics are in passenger compartment and all were destroyed as was all leather. 3 months later, truck had been mishandled, improperly fixed, issues had been hidden, new parts had been repainted and service manager made excuse after excuse. In the end, everything was fixed because I was extremely diligent and State Farm insurance agent was awesome... don't give them an inch, demand everything be fixed correctly, take it to another dealership if you have to, and realize... you will take a HUGE hit on resale with water damage listed on CarFax.
