Kinda. It voids the factory but then the FP warranty kicks in to match what the factory was. It’s still unknown, at least to me, if it impacts extended ones.

Worth noting as was mentioned early in the thread “void” is a misnomer. The tune would have to be the determined cause of the part failure that the warranty was being applied against.

OEMs do like to use tunes as a leverage point to deny warranty. However in practice it’s much less likely ford would point the finger at itself and will probably set a high bar for warranty denial for FP tuned vehicles. Last thing they want is to embarrass themselves. Still it’s possible, all part of the risk reward calculation….
