So OP is basically FOS. Stock for stock the G2 will eat a G1 alive at just about any task. A modded anything will pretty much beat anything if done correctly, so no news flash there.

I guess you missed the part where it now has its own frame which was already improved in the stock F150. Your mods going to improve the frame in your G1?

So it boils down to the sound and you can't afford one. #interesting

Damn Man, it's a truck, not cure for cancer! It is Gen 2, that's why they make Gen 2- improve on Gen 1! If it was not a improvement- Why would it sell??????? We will have to wait and see if your Gen 2 does as well as our Gen 1. Take the strikes against a Gen 1 (mine for example)-
There is a newer Gen 2
It is a 2014, over 3 years old
It has 31k miles on it
And is STILL holds 90% of purchase price- not bad.
You can say the new V6TT is great, awesome, better, etc. But EVERYDAY there is a new thread and chatter bout when does the Gen 2 or Gen 3 or whatever gonna get a V8. Clearly, folks want a V8. Before you ask, yep driven one. Yep they are fast! That is the main thing yall say, as yall say we hang our hat on sound. I can honestly say, I have never raced head to head with my Raptor. If I do plan to race head to head, well that's why I have a Corvette, and yes it has a 6.2L in it!
And your final ******** comment- you don't him or me. YES I CAN AFFORD IT

Gen 2 owners biggest insult "Because you can't afford it and your insecure". I'll be the first to say I can't afford it because I'm 21 going to school and working, However most of the other gen 1 owners can afford a gen 2 no problem at all(Just look at some of the members trucks here, most have well over 30-40k in mods). They are just slightly more logical and could give two ***** about having the newest and best thing so tell me how is that insecure? The ones rushing out to buy a 80k truck just to have a "BRAND NEW RAPTOR" and wave it around in others peoples faces like oooh look what i can afford are the ones who are truly insecure. Probably bought the shit on a loan too.


Note: This is for Gen 2 owners who claim that Gen 1 owners are the poverty section etc. Not towards Gen 2 owners who actually got the truck because they like it not to brag towards others over money,status, and the name of a brand new raptor.

Also I take back eating it alive with 15-20k in mods, It will be on par with it or slightly better. however with 30-40k( which is the amount of money I personally saved over buying a gen 2) in mods it would most definitely eat it alive.
