The Raptor Wave

Not many where I live,but got my first wave yesterday...didnt have time to give it back as I wasnt expecting it.....But been doing it for years in my Corvette...almost 99% of Vette owners wave...

when i drove a corvette back in the 90's....the "corvette wave" was a thing and it pissed me off.

I get a few waves here and there from Raptors, for the most part...i just ignore and go about my business

Doeff,but think its kind of silly....Have owned my '63 since '73 and been waving back for 40+ years...LOL...yeah,its silly,but dont cost me anything to be nice...What I really find annoying is living in the country,going down country roads where I live,everyone that lives in the area gives a wave if they know the Vehicle...its a tourist area,so unless you know the exact vehicle,you would be waving at every car,and I got better things to do than remember who is driving what type of vehicle,and not gonna be waving at every tourist passing....Unless the vehicle really is a one off like my Raptor,(everyone in my town knows who ownes the "Shelby")...and I personally know the person,I keep my hands on the wheel...

I usually do, almost no raptor drivers around here wave back, or notice. Too much interstate driving I guess.

Most of the Raptors I see are on the other side of an interstate so it's hard to tell if they're waving back but they definitely aren't doing the hi-beam double tap like I do.

There is a Gen 1 owner out in the St. Marys, PA who always waves back when I see her on the road.

I get from other raptors in MA and I always wave back. They are few and far between where I am so its easy to spot one coming. On the other hand, I do ride a harley quite a bit and I never wave back - its just too much waving at every bike on the road.

I only wave at Gen 2s. I don't give attention to Gen 1 peasants.

I do the wave don’t have much luck getting responses. I have accidentally waved at Fake Raptors to. There’s so many imitators out there.
It dies make their day though I get a better response from them then I do actual Raptor owners.

I do acknowledge Raptors and almost always get a positive response, regardless of the Gen.
