Is the hole on the opposite side of the dash the same size? I don't use that for anything and think the switchs would look cool there. A little out of reach but it'd fill that useless space. Any thoughts?

What was actually in the wiring harness bag? When I look it up, it is used on a number of different Ford/Lincoln vehicles that don't have the upfitter switches.

Hey Far. It plugs into the back of the Aux switch pack and has a bunch wires which control each switch, plus a ground and power source.

It was a PITA for the ford parts department to locate, so be sure to bring the part number I arrowed with you when you order.

The switch pack was around $74 off ebay and the harness was around $30 from Ford.

Here is a view of the bag from the other side;

Nicely executed Blue! :rocking:

Since I have the trailer brake switch/controller, I wonder if the passenger side cubby would work as well.

I beleive it would, just a bit more of a reach...

Move the trailer brake to the passenger cubby and use the old trailer brake location for the new aux switches. Who the hell uses the trailer brake controller that often anyways?

Sorry, I must have not have explained it correctly. The aux switch pack is installed from the back of the vertical console piece, which I removed. I used epoxy around the front perimeter of the switch panel to adhere it to the back of the console hole rim. The vertical console piece is still removable just as it was before.

Just like the factory aux switches, the secondary set is already powered and I just need to tap any additional items the same way as the factory set, so there should also not be the need to remove the console again.

:cheers:
Does it have built in fuses or do you need to install inline fuses when installing lights/accessories?

Awesome blue!! I have factory trailer brake but what about our empty passenger side "slot" that's empty......will this additional set of aux switches fit in there?? I'm anxious to hear your response before ordering another set of switches.

If you don't have the trailer brake option, this is the cleanest install location for a 2nd set of Aux switches ever!! Install from the back and it fits Perfectly! Not to mention, very accessible.

Couple questions about adding these extra swithches. Are people adding a fuse block, maybe under the hood? Anyone done this and decided it was time to go to a dual battery set up?
Not worried about power draw from lights so much as compressor, train horn whatever else I add combined with the lights and winch already there. I know they all won't be in use at once but some will. Lots of lights and the winch are a good possibility for an example. I already have some strange electronic issues that Ford says is due to voltage drop in BCM possibly.
