I agree! Although i still have the original four aux switches free, I'm tempted to mount the switches just to give that space a purpose. ;-)

Awesome blue...
I was just reading and re reading the original aux switch thread. I'm gearing up, lol...

Did you follow the schematic wiz posted for the wire harness?

How did you run the relays and fuses? And where did you locate them??

I also have the brake controller, so I'll be eyeing up a different mount location for the switches.

Thanks,

GREAT LAKES RAPTOR EXCURSIONS

Thanks Joe.

I just bought the parts and did the install on the aux switch pack behind the console. I left the actual wiring to my Audio guy. I have no problem with any mechanical installs, but I stay away from electronics...

I was talking with James the other say and understand you have a new Horn coming!!! Sweet! :rockit:

See ya in a month!

What holds it in to the cubby? Is it spring loaded, clips or screwed in? I'd hate if it fell out every time I mashed the gas pedal.

Automotive epoxy. The console will fall off before the switches do! LOL :headbang:

Great location for the switches. Looks mint.

Looks clean but...

Is there a possible future need to remove the switch panel to access the connections on the back side? If so, how do you do that if you epoxy it in?

darn you and your thinking ahead.

Sorry, I must have not have explained it correctly. The aux switch pack is installed from the back of the vertical console piece, which I removed. I used epoxy around the front perimeter of the switch panel to adhere it to the back of the console hole rim. The vertical console piece is still removable just as it was before.

Just like the factory aux switches, the secondary set is already powered and I just need to tap any additional items the same way as the factory set, so there should also not be the need to remove the console again.
