Yes, its not the Raptor but Im going to say Ford isnt messing around when it comes to their new EB motors.

Im aware but Im also thinking the technology is essentially going to be the same or very similar going into both.

You think that $400k is just the motor? Has nothing to do with all the one off components and carbon fiber body? Nothing to do with the thousands of hours in R&D put into its design/function?

Once the R&D on the GT motor is done they can use that tech on other EB motors in their lineup to improve them. It would be pretty dumb to spend millions on R&D and then not apply the findings to their other motors now wouldnt it?

Millions on R&D is peanuts. Why would you afford the same technology from a race car, to your normal people haulers? Talk about a warranty nightmare on wear and tear components; as mileage between the two would vary drastically. Plus the difference in power and torque needed for two totally different applications. That'd be like me wondering if I go and buy a Chevy 1500 and expect the same performance as the new Z06...

Ya Ford put the same engine from the last GT in the Lightning. I'm sure they will do that with the Raptor and the new GT.

Cast block vs Aluminum Block.

380hp v 550hp.

So yeah, essentially the same motor.... I'm going to kick you in the balls Stoner

Hahaha sarcasm doesn't come across well in type. I was pointing out the new GT engine is going to be as much a Raptor enfpgine as the last GT engine was a Lightning engine. If the GT and Raptor get the same engine there is going to be a lot of very pissed off rich boys
