Well said! And really I think the gen2 guys need to go out of the way to 'play nice' or we'll fragment this great forum and ruin future outings. It'll be Raptor Runs for gen1 guys and then the gen2 guys will have to do their own. Don't really want that but I'm kind of tired of all the junk too right now.

Segregation, those gen 2s can't use the same washroom as my gen 1.

All jokes aside I hope that doesn't happen.

I'll take a weak arse NA V8 over a Weak arse TT any day.

the potential for gains in a large NA V8 engine are far greater than potential gains in a smaller already FI v6.

True...if you have deep enough pockets to add forced induction to a V8. But currently you can't get a half ton Ford or Ram from the factory with a forced induction V8.

I will say this and only once, you dont want any off road vehicle to have turbos. Superchargers maybe but turbos, need clean air to function properly. Regardless of how restrictive or good the air cleaners are in sand, mud and dirt the turbos will get clogged, they will over heat and there will be engine trouble.

This TT v6 Raptor is geared towards the playground and costco crowd, those that will not nor probably ever will take them off road. This is a disaster waiting to happen, and you all can do what you want. I am not you nor do I need to defend my truck. I own a 2011 Gen 1 Raptor and am happy with it. If the eco boost is anything like the one they put into the regular f150s, on which it is based then I stand behind those statements.

i think you'd be rather surprised at the number of turbos found in offload motorsports koh and baja included.
