Let the record show that a couple of us Gen1 guys were having a polite non-destructive conversation about flex fuel possibly being an option on the new Gen2 and it was disrupted by another non-owner, trouble making, troll ^^^.

Dont act like youve never derailed a thread around here...Also this is the 'whining thread' which turned into a joke a loooooooong time ago. Lighten up. If you want to have a serious discussion about flex fuel create a new thread and if someone comes in there and tries to derail it then you can rightfully complain.

I know it doesnt pertain 100% to the Raptor but the Ford Ecoboost Riley DP (01) car finished 5th overall at the Rolex 24 at Daytona, not bad.

The Ford GT's had transmission and brake problems but did battle on after numerous times in the pits.

I hope they continue to do well and push their ecoboosts hard so maybe some of the tech will trickle down.

Supposedly the race engine blocks and most parts are identical, with just some tuning, valves, boost ect used to get to 650HP as to really test the production components.

That's why I was interested in it's debut. They got a month and a half to figure out some of these transmission and electrical issues before Sebring on March 19th.

Sure thing, I guess they're admitting the Ecoboost is a pos because GT350 and GT350R. And so many people in the past didn't buy Ford V6's because the Raptor had a V8. You're clueless. The Raptor is supposed to be an exclusive, performance truck, not a demo truck to prove the Ecoboost is cool.
No their not admitting anything, they know they won't sell Mustang GT's running anything but a V8 for now, try selling a hot roder on a V6. Won't happen, muscle cars have V8's period, part of the allure is the exhaust note, the Raptor is more of a localized specialty truck, yes it's a performance truck, but what is the ratio of those that go off road vs those which are nothing more than status symbol pavement cruisers? Ford knows this, Ford will sell way more Mustang GT's than Raptors and no matter how they spin it, it won't sell well with a V6, supercharged, turbo'd or whatever, it's been tried before by the manufacturers trying to pass off a 6 or even a 4 as performance muscle car only to die in show rooms.

Lol going to a mode that is made for the dirt is totally going to be awesome on pavement.... Haha have you ever driven a vehicle off road in your life? Most off road modes hold onto the gear you're in until you hammer the pedal down. Definitely not gonna be the mode with the fastest gear shifts
