Alright thank you guys

I'm going to top more than likely and the bumper should be on by tomorrow but Ford told me they don't do perch adjustments so I guess I'll be funding a shop that'll do it today

Just removed my swaybar today and WOW what a difference! I'm at mid perch and now the truck is so smooth, body roll is only noticed if your jerking the wheel side to side. When hitting potholes wheel movement is almost completely gone, front end feels much more stable.

I just doubt removing the sway bar is a good idea for my roads - very curvy ****** mountain roads. Our roads here shred tires, unless you drive like an 80 year old.

I thought the same thing... There is sway, but the width of the truck. It is not noticeable inside the truck.

I've heard (not confirmed), that insurance could deny a claim if you were in an accident. The sway bar is a safety feature.

As far as removing it, are you only disconnecting one side? Or completely removing the whole assembly?

Remove the entire thing. It only takes a few minutes if you have the proper tools. I am on top perch and was not happy with the ride and bump steer. After taking the sway bar off it's perfect. Still harsher than the bottom perch but I think it handles better than with the sway bar on and at the bottom perch. On the bottom it just seemed to dip and dive to much for my liking.

It really depends...

On stock perch height, there is noticeable body roll/sway.

Mid perch, there is a little body roll and not really noticeable in the cab.

Top perch (2010-11, not advisable on 2012 and up) no noticeable body roll at all, the on road harmonics between sides is noticeable gone compared with sway bar on.

On my 2012, i have played with this a lot.. In my opinion for my driving style, it helps a lot with the push around corners, the harmonics in the front end (hitting a crack/bump at an angle, and front end reacting and fighting each other.)

I disconnected mine on mid perch and there was some body roll, I thought it was fun, my wife thought it felt like a boat, so it eventually went back on because she refused to drive it. I say just disconnect the end links and zip tie up the actual sway bar and check it out for yourself, it's the only way to know.
