I assume there's some sort of lateral bracketry that ties the left and right side together because I can see an attachment point for it, but I don't actually see it in any of the photos. Do you have a photo of the entire kit or can you confirm it uses one?

There is a cross tube that connects both sides to reduce any twisting of the frame and it will not get in the way of any aftermarket exhaust. We designed the placement of the tube to make install fast and easy. Unfortunately I didn't take any glamour pics of these kits because they were all the prototype kits. Now that we no what we wanted to tweak and change I will have proper product pics coming next week, but overall 95% of the kit is identical to what you have all seen.

Thanks

Jarrett

Explain adjustable, Off road mode and what other modes? Please

The best way for me to explain that is through here

Bump kit looks really nice and I like the adjustability! For those of us you might have bent our frames ever so slightly, will this kit help to straighten the frame back out?

If your frame is a little tweaked and sucked up where the OE bump went, it will most likely pull back out a bit when you torque down the old bump stop bolt to the new frame support. But other than that, it is designed to stop further damage to the frame and offer the user a multi functional part for all environments.

Thanks for the question

Ah man, how I've missed these JV Production videos.

So the guy that sweeps your floors (can't remember his name) said he could get me a good deal on one of these. Can you hook a brother up or what!?

You know the sweeper has mad pull around the shop

Great Video!

Off topic but,

It's amazing how much the shock "twists" in the background. That shock has heims at the mounting points where our OEM shocks have rubber grommets...

Wonder if changing the OEM grommets to heims would assist in smoothing out the articulation of the rear suspension system?

Did not mean to hijack a brotha's thread just thought it was interesting!

Great Product! I could not be any happier with mine! Can't wait for the summer to dorp her down into tow mode and haul my boat around.

Thanks again guys!

It seems like it rides the bumps more than in the similar rpg bump stop video. Is that done for comfort or am I just imagining things?

Thanks for the info I now see that the can is bolted on and moves. I thought I read somewhere that using a shock style bump stop kit was not the greatest idea for towing assistance?

Depending on the trucks weight and whats in the bed will determine how close she is riding to the impact pad. As far as this truck, it sits right at the same ballpark distance as any other 2.5" bump kit on the market, roughly 4-5.5" away. So I'm not gonna say you are imaging things, but you might be imagining things :derp:

I have been hearing this for a while now, and to be honest, I have been using a 4" long bump for towing in my F-150 for years now with zero issues. To give you an idea, a typical 2.5" diameter bump can handle up to 400psi or so. The most I have ever needed to pump up my old bumps was 250psi, and that was towing a raptor from Texas to California and Back...

Hope this helps

Your making me want to rip off my RPG one now to get me one of these. lol
VERY BAD ASS!
I tow a travel trailer and this would come in handy big time. Great design guys, keep up the great work.

No need to 'Rip Off' the RPG system.
RPG offers a towing bump stop for there system; and it works outstandingly well!
