How many times can you run that nylon nut off before you recommend changing it? Looks like a fine thread bolt as well, correct?

I have personally removed mine about 10 times now and even made sure to use the same nut and bolt each time. So far we have had no issues and we just got done with another test session last weekend.

Plus we have also purposely ran only 2 bolts every time to ensure that there would be no issues what so ever. So far they have held up and I do not plan to switch them out any time soon.

With that said we do not have a schedule for switching them out because it's not a tension pulling style load like you would have on a u-bolt

I just put the ABS to the test this last weekend at Silver Lake MI sand dunes. Running stock leafs, the ABS kit took an absolute pounding. (UPS lost one of my +3 deavers during shipping)

One hit in particular completely compressed the king bumps 100% and sent the back of the truck 3-4 feet up into the air. Not good. Fearing the worst for the kit, and the truck, I stopped to inspect, and could not find one single problem besides flattened strike pads on the kings haha.

A lot of force was transferred into the ABS after bottoming the kings, and it held up perfectly. It didn't even phase it or the truck.

On the other hand, the stock fox shocks gotta go.

Most likely clear powder coat. I do all of my polished aluminum stuff on my boat engine to avoid re-polishing. Has held up perfectly for over 12 years.
