I did notice with mine after a few k miles everything softened up a bit. Give the truck a little time to break in and adjust your tire pressures to the best tread pattern. (aka the chalk test). I run about 40psi in mine

Good point, I thought about that too. I got about 600 mi on it and it feels the same as day 1.
In the short time I've been on this forum, I haven't found too much on that topic.
How do you perform the chalk test ?

Make a chalk line across the tread, drive in a straight line in a flat parking lot or something (doesn't take much distance) and see if it's worn evenly, if not adjust pressure accordingly (lower for wear in center, increase for wear on outer tread (cupping)).
