...Big shout out of thanks to Crystal aka FordService for spotting my thread and reaching out to me. The regional customer service rep that she had contact me apparently really was able to expedite finding a shock for me. I have to give it to Ford that when you find the right people they will help out. Finding those people isn't always easy but at least they employ a good number of them unlike some companies.

I'm happy I could help, Labraptor; it's always worth a try to see what I can do. Feel free to give me a shout if you need my assistance in the future.

Well they sort of fixed it. Apparently they didn't grasp the concept that both sides should be set on the same perch. So I have a lopsided Raptor until I fix it myself.

Yeah well this one had said they would. Just "didn't remember". You might think it would have looked odd when they did an alignment.

Went outside today to do my tire rotation, and complete check of truck, only to find my drivers side front shock is leaking,19,872 miles, I'll go to the dealer to get a good laugh, and that will probably direct me to rebuild them myself.

Why would you expect them to laugh? My service manager ordered a new shock when I told him one was blown. Didn't actually look at it until the new one came in.
