Grab an injector upgrade and we can do 91 93 and e85 tunes for ya. That rmb motor should be able to take everything we can throw at it, we just can't get too carried away on the actual boost pressure with the stock valve springs.

What part of Texas are you in?

Been there before! I've been to TEEX a few times. I used to travel to the Huston and port Arthur area a bunch for my day job, but haven't been there since a few months before covid.

It's not bad, 2 hour job just need to take the intake manifold off and there are right there. I have a guy/shop I work with in Port Arthur that just got a new dyno but that's a little hike from CS.

I’m like the peanut gallery...

Can you set him up with a pump tune and maybe a blended tune with his current EVO pump? Will it do E50?

Then he can have fun with the beast and then revisit the injectors in a little while. I’m just thinking if I were him.... he’s been without his truck for months and months.... the thought of going back to the shop for even a day or two.... a total drag!

E50 probably would put down some hefty numbers, yes?

Yeah it should do e50 just fine. That'll be enough to get him addicted to ethanol. Lol

Can't swapping injectors cause driveability issues sometimes on pump gas? Non e85

Nope not it is tuned correctly (don't get me wrong it takes some good tuning) but generally speaking 1000cc are good to go. The 1000cc and 1050x are very well behaved.

Yes it can, at very light loads/throttle input. Although 1000cc may not be as bad as other bigger options. Us higher altitude guys see this behavior even more so.

Some tuners idle bigger injectors rich, which is not ideal, to get around this.

Can easily be tuned for and made non existent.

I can’t comment on this topic, but I can say that I’d be willing to compare my performance to any other non E85 3.5 Raptor and I’m pretty confident that I would be competitive. I also believe my truck would give a solid run against a TRX.

I’m super happy with the results. Thanks ZFG!
