Thanks for the great review! The cr performance turbos are game changes for sure! In case anyone didn't see yet the EcoBoost 1/4 mile record was reset this week with a set of crp stage 4s on board! If you are on the fence they are definitely worth it with right tuning even on 93 octane although I recommend a port fuel injectors upgrade (1000cc) and e85! 83b9deee510ba77270c365390825bbf3.jpgb611e339f0d8bd4c1b7a3de2496d0b6f.jpg91334724c0109b2b8e225a4668febcba.jpg

I have a pretty similar setup, and am currently thinking about a HPFP with e85. I was thinking about taking it back to MPT for the tune, since I live in NE Florida. I'm at 530WHP, but again I don't wanna overdo the torque. Any thoughts?
Just an FYI if you want to run e85 you need do port injectors or the hpfp-60. The evo pump is not large enough.

Weren't there issues on the dyno for that trucknover 5k rpm? Power drop-off, limit of the fuel system. I was talking to Win about it last night and feeling outside of the hpfp. Injectors added as well could potentially fix the fuel issue, you agree?

Not on pump gas no, the pervious tuner didn't adjust the blend table for di/pi and was running way too rich, so it looked like fuel system was struggling but it wasn't. If you are staying on pump gas you shouldn't need to upgrade anything fuel system wise. The power drop off was also tune related I'm not going to bash the pervious tuner though, just going to simply put it as if you have big turbos on an EcoBoost let someone who had experience with big turbos tune it, because for it to be proper there are a lot of things that need to be setup right. This is where hp tuners also shines over the other options it has the definitions and tools to do it right.

I was seriously thinking that I was trading this truck in on a TRX until ZFG came to the rescue.

It’s not just the power... it flat out runs great. It idles perfectly smooth. It has great throttle response. It has no drivability issues. It was what I had hoped the truck could be when I started this project.

congratulations! Subscribing for the dyno numbers. See, I told you they were lower than they should be! Glad to hear some of it was just the tune. :)

I’m definitely going to get some data for the dyno to see where it all ended up.

Whatever numbers it’s making.... is what it can make... that much I believe. It’s certainly a lot more than it was.
