Tell Corey that you have the original -1" springs that sacked out quick. RPG has already admitted that design mistake and has offered
to help get them replaced.
I hope you can find peace with your rear end. ;-)
Question: Does anybody know what instructions I should give to the spring shop who is re-arching my SD's? Like how much arch to put in them?
This is how I would do it:
Remove the springs.
Mark the drivers side.
Place upside down on the ground
Measure from the ground to the top of the arch.
Tell the shop you want +x number of inches over that number. And the driver side a 1/2" more.
Check them before you leave the spring shop.
You may want to get new bushings too. I can't remember if national uses pollyurathan or rubber bushings. But they do wear out over time. The rubber faster (~5 yrs) than the polly bushings.
When I was looking to re-ach my springs in Omaha, the spring shop quoted me about $130. Although they didn't know what I was taking about when I told them I had a progressive leaf pack with 12 springs. =mind blown lol...
Talk with either National and/or RPG and see what they say on the re-arching.

MCR - you may want to have them over arch a bit and run a drop shackle as an option. Or if you like the ass high in the air, run as is.
