End goal is ass down look with best performing rear end

You should probably check the "Rated Smokin Hot" thread for best performing rear end.

For the springs, I would do the +2s. You can always throw a shackle on later. A bit more difficult to go from a +1 spring to a +2.

So what's the expected life of the newer design? 10,000 road miles before rearch? 20,000 miles?

I'd be helpful for these companies to publish expected maintenance intervals... kind of like Fox does.

I'm at 37,000 miles on national +3's. 75% offroad.
Not sacked out at all, a little bit of shifting action happening at the bushings, but nothing serious yet.

Did you go with HD or SD?
Would you mind grabbing a measurement from the wheel centerline to the bottom of the fender? (With about a 3/4 tank of gas)

So I got my Nationals sitting on the floor. 11" from floor to bottom leaf - turned upside down. What should they be new?

Well I called National and they said 8 1/2" from centerline of bolt holes to bottom leaf. That doesn't seem right but I'm going to go try to measure that.

The guy said that would give stock ride height but I'm seriously doubting that.
