No the HD springs don't act like the normal HD springs with the drop shackles. Cause the shackles take away some of the springs progression. If you were to run normal springs with shackles you'll lose droop travel the HD springs and shackles would act just like the normal SD springs with normal shackles.

Since you're on top perch all you need to do is get the normal SD springs and you'd be good. Once it settles it'll drop about an inch lower than the front. Here's a pic of y truck with SD nationals and top perch. It sits nose high by about an inch. I don't know if you want it more or not I have the +2 sd nationals on mine

So u would say a HD spring that sits the truck taller than stock and with a drop shackle sits stock height or slightly taller should be good and not have any limited travel?

Why would you do this when you can get a standard duty and it sits the same?

because with the standard duty springs and the drop shackles you loose droop travel so if you want to just do standard springs and keep the stock shackles you'll be perfectly fine! i'm not sure who suggested drop shackles with standard springs but tahts not the way to go

and JB you gotta work for it and know people who know some poeple:fuckyea: hahaha

Because I wanted HD springs for towing/hauling and to handle more weight in the bed. I went WSI and they sit a lot higher in the rear and I only wanted to be a little higher. So I choose drop shackles to lower me down to just above stock. I would never go drop shackles and standards

Will the HD springs with drop shackles still handle the increased weight better than the standard on stock shackles ? And will the hd springs perform just as good offroad and on with the shackles and unloaded bed as the standards?

Good Q's. From what I've been told from my research since I can only speak for the stockers and HD'S and not standards. Yes HD's and drop shackles will handle weight better. As far as Offroad unloaded it will handle better than stock but not sure vs the standards. I plan on running some stuff in the bed so it won't be an issue for me.
