IRONMAN thanks for the dealer info I live close to Dorian Ford, also how many miles do you have on your vehicle? Just curious at what mileage the IWE and hubs were needed. Thanks and have fun at the Snowball!

I just turned 65,ooo. It's a 2010 5.4L
Mechanic told me he left the truck on the hoist at night then tried it the next morning and the 4x4 started working.
He thinks some moisture got in the hubs and froze then it had time to unthaw in the shop over night.
He wasn't going to take any chances so he swapped it all out both hubs and actuators.
That part I loved cause most dealers would only fix the one that was bad.
or waist more time in narrowing it down to the actual cause.
What area are you from?
I'm near 12 and Harper

Since they are tied together if you have a weak and leaking hub on one side. It will/can cause the other side to partially engage rounding the teeth. Now with one side being able to fully engage it cause a quick death of worn one.

Backcountry Ap Tutorial and questions for a clueless new guy:

I bought and downloaded the Backcountry Ap for my tablet.

I then downloaded the route with way-points onto the tablet.

Which map overlay should I use?

How do I save the maps onto the tablet for use when there's no wifi/reception?

How far should I zoom in to save the maps?

Just a heads up last year I had back country navigator on nexus 7 and droid rzr maxx.. Neither one of them worked once I lost cell service. Both used a-gps (assisted gps) and not true gps, once cell tower triangulation was lost navigation was too..
