Ya, you can't beat the views up there.

Bigg50 in a 4 to 5 foot snowbank. This is why you should not text and drive. Lol

Hey, hey take it easy ;-)

A review of lessons learned and observations:

-Let the recovery vehicle snatch/drag the stuck vehicle out. Giving the stuck vehicle gas results in burying the wheels.

-Snow is wet. Wear waterproof boots.

-There is no replacement for deep treads.

-There is no replacement for a winch.

-Compared to Jeeps and Toyotas, the Raptor sinks in deep snow like the Titanic.


... and the #1 lesson - texting while driving will put you in a ditch. lol

Lol, oh so true. Me getting stuck snowballed (pun intended) into so many other challenges that would have never happened if I wouldn't have got stuck in that ditch. When I got home late I told my wife it was her fault since I was trying to send her a picture of the view...needless too say she didn't buy it.

Glad to hear you guys had a great time... Wish I could have been cold wet too.. I was the winch guy sp maybe next time.. I am soo looking forward to Lost coast run...

i believe i have video of one of our (many) extractions after the two of you left. my mouse for my computer broke and then i got pissed and broke the keyboard too. new keyboard is here but the mouse should arrive tomorrow. once i can get back on my pc i can upload the video.

i think its was myrons extraction that i have. you know, the first one when i followed right into you tracks and we both got stuck.......
