I would believe that. The aftermarket intercoolers followed the same Ford design where the driver side pickup is down low. The ecoboost community noticed this and strictly uses the other manufacturers who moved the pick up mid-way up the intercooler. This works well to stave off condensate misfire, but is not a foolproof solution.
The weep hole is a proven fix on all 3.5 ecoboost engines. You can choose to ignore it, but you will understand once you have the misfire.

So you're not willing to put $$$ where your mouth is - you've been saying the same drivel for months now

If you're right, hell, I'll send you $100

Step up

There are zero threads on this with owners of 2015+ trucks

Find me three posts where people have done this on newer trucks

You must be living under a rock. Go search the online forums and you will find people with engine misfires. The active shutter system is another poor attempt to fix the terrible ecoboost misfire fiasco.

The weep hole is only a HELP. Not a HARM. Find me one person that had negative effects from the intercooler weep hole. You won't find anything but happy owners. Heck, we even happy one on this 17 Raptor forum. The weep hole solved their misfire stutter shudder problems.

Who drilled a weep hole here?

I searched the online forums - not one single 2015 posted a walk thru, there's not a single thread with a bunch of me-too's, etc

Nothing

Post them here, prove us wrong

Dealer took my truck in yesterday to diagnose after they observed the shudder. Will post updates later.
