How would anyone online possibly know what happened at your dealer?

Maybe the guy that was supposed to order it was too busy playing with his ass in the showroom.

Maybe they gave the allocation to someone else.

Maybe everyone has covid and the world is going to be taken over by super smart
monkeys soon.

Point is no one knows, and it's all speculation.

Suck it up, move on. Have fun with the search.

Might want to shop dealers that are known to not have allocation issues.

It’s getting bad when I read a post without reading the username and can then automatically attribute it to you based on how f*cking idiotic it sounds.

If you’re so upset by people asking questions on a FORUM why are you even on here?

You say this thread is all speculation but then you tell him not to order from a dealer with known allocation issues, because you know it was an allocation issue. :emotions34:

Furthermore, how in the bloody hell is some guy off the street just trying to buy a Raptor going to know if a dealer has “known allocation issues” or not? What app does he use for that? Did you have a magical antenna up your ass that received that information as you drove by different dealerships? I’m personally curious.

Four weeks ago, when I purchased my SCAB, I was trying to work with a dealer I trust (I know...trust and dealer do not normally fit in the same sentence)). I had purchased several trucks from this same salesman in the past, and had achieved a more or less NO BS relationship. Problem was, they had none in stock, and could not get any dealer local to trade over one. He suggested I order. I agreed. While I was going over what I wanted with my wife (10 minutes after I got off the phone with the dealer), he called back to say that the factory was closed to new orders. He said it was NOT Covid related directly, but that they had max orders for the 2020 run out.

I went that afternoon to a dealer I was not very happy working with and purchased my 2020 SCAB. So far it has been OK.

It seems that if your dealer cared, they would have known some 4 weeks ago, and informed you.

My local dealer told me that a dealer near Denver had a SCAB 801A leadfoot in transit. I prefer the 801 myself especially with all the upgrades they did to the package for 2020.

Hopefully you didn’t buy from San Tan Ford. They were MSRP plus $2800 addendum or FU.

Hey fellas, thanks for the input. Luckily I found a SCAB out of state for a decent deal with pretty much the same spec. I assume they just honestly forgot, but I would have liked the truth a bit more.

Yeah, it is pretty ******* dumb to get online and ask a bunch of strangers that have no idea about any of the circumstances surrounding your dealership or your order. So when I see a stupid question. I'll call it stupid.

Totally right. no one really knows if allocation issues are a problem for a dealer. But might help to find a dealer that leads in volume sales. Common sense says there will be zero issue with allocations being a factor when order time comes.

Easy google searches can turn up the volume leaders in the country. It also isn't much a stretch to say that volume dealers don't **** all their customers on price since they sell plenty of whatever model you are looking into. Not worried about getting top dollar for the two allocations they have.

If you don't like what I have to say, do something about it. Don't just type.

Wow man you really are a bad ass.

I wouldn’t be calling anybody or anything stupid, if I were you. Lord knows if you were to get knocked aside the head and lost a few brain cells, you’d be on a list that the government usually reserves for the developmentally disabled.

EDIT: And really, it wasn’t that stupid of a question considering myself and many others on here were able to give him input on when we placed our orders and how it turned out. We were able to roughly figure out where his issue lay and give him advice on the best course of action. The better question to be asked is, why come into his thread and act like a complete ******* when you had nothing valuable to contribute? None of us here are better for reading what you wrote. And yet, we all wonder why these forums are constantly populated by the same X amount of users with very little new traffic.

This is perhaps the one intelligent thing I’ve seen you post here, but just because a dealer posts that they’re a “volume seller” or blah blah blah, doesn’t make it true.

Oh boy, the Wannabe Tommy Toughnuts Billy Badass routine over the Internet. Yes yes, we’re all very impressed on how you compensate for your massive inferiority complex. :supergay:
