holy manual trans batman, that would be sick!

Trick for sure!

My guess 5k....

Wonder what this will do to the DS and Rear suspension considering you won't have the safety of preload anymore. They should at least sell it with a drive shaft loop. Lol

I see this costing way more than its worth. The transmission itself may not be too bad, but all the supporting mods to make it work just wouldn't be worth it.

I agree about it probably costing more than its worth. Then again so are most raptor mods. Its that damn raptor tax!

Not to mention that the value of your Raptor would fall by at least half. A very tiny % of the market would want something like that. Hey it would make you Raptor different than all of the others.

Long term support (spares and repairs) of the transmission will be an issue to consider as well.

Could this be accomplished using some parts from the GT500 bin? The trans from that car should at least be strong enough.

This would be awesome if you put it in a purpose built truck not for everyday use. It's like building a toy a very expensive toy but that's relative I guess. But to have a manual in this type of truck with high horse power on a track or in the desert would be very fun.

I get that but I also believe that the days of manual transmissions are mostly behind us and for good reason. Driving at high speeds on or off road is demanding and requires the driver's full attention. Being involved in shifting the transmission is mostly, as I see it, a liability especially for non-professionals.
