In what world is a blown v8 sad? Especially compared to a 3.5l ecoboost? Sorry but the ecoboost in the raptor is sad, it deserves a proper engine
Who is saying a V8 is sad????? No V8 is sad LOL. Obviously, you're not a golfer LOL.

It's sad Ram had to throw in a supercharged V8 in order to even compete with the Raptor, just proves how awesome the Gen3 really is! Troll, troll, troll your boat gently down the stream LOL
What’s sad is how many Raptor owners are buying TRX’s because of Ford’s refusal to give the majority of us Raptor guys a V8, RAM seems to be filling that need though.

I would bet that half (or more) of TRX buyers are coming out of Raptors. If you were responsible for Raptor development, how would you feel/react?

Don't let the door hit you in the a@@ on the way out! LOL For every one buying a TRX there are 3 new willing to step up and buy the Raptor.

I had planned on buying a Raptor with a V8 and then they have us a trombone exhaust…
And now I’m in a TRX. I was a Dodge/Ram guy for 20 years and took a shot at Ford with my 2020 Raptor. After a year I couldn’t get over the fake piped in engine noise. I didn’t turn my back on Ford by going back to Ram and buying a TRX. Ford turned its back on everybody else by failing to provide a V8 with the release of the 3rd Gen Raptor.

Just so we are all clear here.......Ford did announce they will be producing a Raptor R with a V8. I'm not really sure what is being discussed here. You got what you wanted, do you want some cheese with your whine??

Well you are not fully understanding the V8 issue here. Look up the term "Ringy Dingy Motor" on this forum. You will see posts from me when I called it correctly and said I would never buy another Raptor until Ford did go back to a V8.

One other thing the Gen II and Gen III are not SVT vehicles. Wonder if the Raptor R will be a SVT?

Understanding the V8 issue?? It's not rocket science LOL. You are free to buy whatever you want in this great country we call home and Ford is free to produce whatever they want, the essence of a free capitalistic society. I can't speak to the SVT question, above my pay grade.
