Removal of front license bracket

^ Naturally, those little plugs ended up being a special order item from Lowe's rather than something they have in stock. So I did a couple searches for drill bits and fasteners and now I’m being bombarded with ads. MutualScrew.com totally sounds like a hook-up dating site though. Big letdown.

Magnetic gray in spray can with clear coat.

What size drill bit(s) did everyone end up using to get this done? Any tips, tricks, or instructions would be awesome.

Just a follow-up, I knocked the plate removal out today.

Long story short, the plugs ZaneMasterX posted are perfect and what I ended up using. I found a 3/16 drill bit is perfect and is the only bit you need. As for paint, I couldn’t find one by the name listed above so I bought Rust-Oleum Metallic Paint & Primer In One - Black Stainless Steel. It seems to match perfectly.
