I got it working!
I had to check the System Box under the remote start menu on the cluster. it's just odd they didn't mention that setting specifically in the remote start section of the owner's manual.
Not a very intuitive name.

Glad I was able to point you in the right direction... it sucks when this stuff doesn’t work because the sales people failed you, that’s why this group is here, to help one another.
