Remote start from App not working

You may have a problem with your Telematics Control Module (TCM). My app stopped working on my '23R as well and the dealer diagnosed it to the TCM. They replaced it and all is good now.

When you had an issue with the TCM, would the app still show the fuel level, tire pressures, ect?

Try disconnecting the battery for about 15 to 20 mins. That seems to be a common fix for some comm issues members experience.

I will try that today and see if i get anywhere

Nope, all it would do is unlock and lock doors. No location either.

Well before disconnecting the battery, i decided to give it one last shot and it started. So turns out it just has a mind of its own and im at the mercy of Ford

I’m not on sync 4 but I had very similar issues with mine (sync 3.4) after iOS update. Never had any issues before hand.

I’ve tried all the above. Some days it works, others it struggles. Like you said, seems to have a mind of its own.

So now when my truck remote starts, the run time is now 10 minutes, it used to be 15. Not sure why that changed
