Recurring Suspension Squeak

I’m starting to think even though it seems incorrect, that it is correct. The dealer told me it was.

My cousin has his 23 37 coming in 2 weeks. Can’t wait to get under it.

Keep us posted. Just doesn’t make sense why the lower collar wouldn’t be symmetrical on both sides.

The spring and shock should be the same on both sides, so to point the live valve solenoid “in”, the assembly would be 180 deg out from side to side. There’s no reason to build a left and a right version for the parts cost if nothing else.

I could be wrong but according to the parts list, there is a right and left shock.

So my cousin’s 2023 Raptor 37 has the same layout of the lower spring collar. I would think each side would be symmetrical. I did find the issue of my squeak which I will post in the next post.

My front right was the squeaky side. So I decided to use some WD-40(should have used some spray grease, but didn’t have it available). Started with spraying upper control arm bushing and jumping on side step with no luck. Then went the shock shaft and it went away. So far it’s gone, but maybe just a temporary fix

That’s exactly where my squeak is coming from. I used Tri flow in that area and it goes away for a few weeks and then slowly comes back. The left side is smooth and quiet without tri flow.

I plan on taking it to Ford, but being super busy with work and kids I decided to give it a go and give them a head start when I do take it in lol

I’ve got a 2022 37PP and my front passenger side had a really bad squeak. I located it down to the boot on the shock at the top of the body that goes around the shaft. I sprayed a little silicone lubricant on it and it immediately stopped. We’ll see if it comes back. If so then I’m guessing I’ll be heading to the dealership.

Same squeak here. '22 37pp. Had the truck serviced last week and had them check the squeak. They noted the squeek but said there was no major issue causing it......????(via voice mail). Ill try the silicone lube, and if it comes back help them understand the squeak in a 100k truck IS the major problem. It isnt a faint little squeek and it is persistent.
